The Dennon PMA 750 AE amp - Dollar / decibel it's great value for money , if you love your music but you are not in favour of blowing big dollars / pounds for said pleasure it's hard to beat . It is a very accurate , almost clinical but lacks a soul . If you play a vinyl disc new or relatively unplayed it will amaze but if your looking for orchestral quality in sound reproduction it suffers . It's more like a very good band leader as compared to a philharmonic conductor . The amp seems at times as if it's struggling with mixing bass / treble notes and so the tone battle is lost and muffled . If it only sounded as good as it looks considering the made in Japan build quality it would have no doubt outsold more high end products . But it still represents great value for money and when in manufacture it was perhaps the only amp on the market to still have a turntable earth point .
