Rented a car for 2 days. Had my own broker insurance so paid €950 for deposit plus €41 for fuel. When I returned the car, the girl did not want to check the car for fuel or damage. I insisted, so she did and signed my contract to say all was correct. The same day, I received a refund of fuel deposit of €39. They took €5 for what??? when I have a form to say returned all ok? 7 days has passed and I am still waiting for my €950 deposit to be refunded. I call their office and they say its my bank. I rent with all companies in Spain at least 2 weeks out of every month and none take more that 2 days to refund the deposit. It appears that Record Go do not care if they loose customers, as there will always be more coming.
I hope I don't have to take legal action with this company as I had to with GOLD CAR to get my deposit returned.
