“Zavvi is a NO NO!!”

I used Zavvi.com to order a DVD for my son that I could not find here in the USA. (Zavvi is a UK based company). When my order finally arrived, after almost a month after I placed my order, my husband went to put the DVD into the DVD player for my son to watch, a "wrong region" message popped up. I have never heard of this before, so I did some research on it. Come to find out, DVD's & DVD players come with region codes programmed into them, and USA is considered a region 1, and UK is a region 2. When I placed my order they did not mention anything about the DVD being a region 2. My point is, why would they sell at region 2 DVD to a region 1 country knowing that there is a 99% chance that the DVD would not play; unless you have a region free DVD player which I have read is rare for people to own. All in all, I was very disappointed in Zavvi and will NEVER be using them again, and do not recommend that anyone else does either.
