“Improved client relations”

We are a small accommodation business which re-opened under new management in 2003. At that time we had a basic 4-page website designed by EMS Internet. The latter also hosted our domain and we have been with the company ever since.

In most cases relations between customer & client have been good over a 13 year period and the technical services and advice provided were all that we required and needed. Responses by the company were very efficient on the whole.

There were nevertheless a few gripes along the way. Among these I would note occasional unsolicited calls from company reps, ostensibly to check on well-being & progress but with the hidden agenda perhaps of 'improving / upgrading' our basic package for additional fees. On another occasion I recall that our site went down during a 'peak period' and EMS was closed over a full 4-day holiday weekend. That was a bit frustrating as we were getting calls from potential customers to tell us they could not access our website. Finally, the 500 email capacity on the basic service is sometimes exceeded without our knowledge. Perhaps an automatic alert would be useful in this case?

However, we have remained loyal to the company and I would say that recently the customer services have improved immensely. We have no cause for complaint. Indeed the site owner facility, which now allows us to edit aspects of text and add / delete pictures is very good indeed, even for a person who may not feel very computer literate. It facilitates a simple 'hands on' interface with the website for the owner and this is most satisfying. There is a better feeling of self-reliance and a better relationship with the host.

In conclusion, I have no hesitation recommending EMS Internet Ltd as a reliable host & server for any small business enterprise.
