“would not quote”

contact for a quote.explained on phone all i wanted was a quote for now...no problem i was told will send somebody round.
nice man in suit turned up.
first question was would i be able to commit today..."no" was my reply because i thought the point of getting a quote was so you could compare with other companies.
at that point the sales man said "no point in me carrying on or measuring up if not able to commit".
well if thats how the bussiness operates not giving out quotes then im supprised they are still going..
even though the sales man wasnt pushy it still felt as though he was..(if that makes sense)...
sorry carrington but thats a sale lost(possibly).unfortunatly you made the choice for me....
