I checked five stars for the value for money, but they came new on the Citroen hdi 1.6 and I've just ticked over 90,000kms. So although I didn't buy them as such, they've done extraordinarily well, and there's probably another 5,000km left at least but I won't trust them for another winter with kids in the back seat.
They pull out of an aqua plane really well and allow you to steer straight. At 110kph I started to drift but was able to hold it in a fairly deep puddle on the highway I didn't see during a heavy downpour. I also went through another puddle at night about a month later doing 70kph (where someone later hit the same puddle at 90 and hit a tree) and I overcorrected slightly out of surprise, stayed on the road and the tyres had me going right where I aimed.
My husband thinks they're a bit noisy, but I think that's because his own car cuts out more road noise in the cab :)
I am on the verge of finding new tyres and will inquire about the same again without doubt. I am also looking into Michelin PP3, XM1+, and will consider the Falken ZE912. Mainly I want to keep up my excellent fuel economy and long tyre life. It's worth paying a tiny bit extra for a better tyre (and yes, the roundabouts ARE fun on the 'Energy' :) Complete confidence and next to no roll.
