“Travel Agent Which Does Not Provide Any Meaningful Support”

We were unfortunate enough to be in Paris during the recent terrorist incident. We tried for over 2 hours calling various departments in Thomas Cook to try to get back home, but all departments said that they could not access our booking. We had to wait until a local office in UK opened at noon to get any sort of response.
After filing a complaint 2 months ago all we keep getting from Thomas Cook is that they were acting as a travel agent - we should address concerns to Disney.
BE WARNED - if you phone to book a Disney Paris holiday with Thomas Cook, the phone call can get diverted to a local office somewhere in a (random) town in the UK, who are the only office that has your booking. Once the booking has been made (and they have your money) Thomas Cook do not feel any obligation to offer any other assistance.
OUR ADVICE - book direct and don't get fooled into believing that Thomas Cook is offering any sort of service.
