“content insurance refused ”

We have been with Churchill for a while with no claims. Got burgled last week- broke glass of the conservatory and got into the house. The burglars had tried to break the locks of two doors before breaking glass. When asked about payment for loss, was told the lock was not to specification in one of the door.They could not break the lock even though they tried and destroyed the door in the process and had ultimately broken the glass.. A bit like having health insurance and asking for payment for treatment for cardiac arrest and being told because you had had cancer you won’t get payment for the treatment of the cardiac problem.
Stay well away from their content insurance. They are going to give ridiculous excuse not to pay you.
If you are going to tske the [policy please read through tyhe fine print which excludes most things that happen and for which you pay to safegaurd yourelf.
