“Holders for pedals don't last”

I bought this breadmaker in Lidl and it made good bread for a reasonable length of time. However, the holders for the pedals eventually became loose and fall out when the bucket is lifted. This makes it difficult to lift the bucket with the mixture in it and difficult to position it into the breadmaker. I hate throwing things out that are actually in working order but it seems this is my only choice.
