“The food here is standard Cantonese, as well as some...”

Good Points
Efficient and attentive waitresses.
Excellent food.
Has a long and established reputation.

Bad Points
Dated d cor, and interior which lacks ambiance.

General Comments
The food here is standard Cantonese, as well as some regional Chinese fayre. Basically the menu contains everything you'd expect to see in a Chinese restaurant in Britain. The d cor is traditional and muted, if a little outdated. In fact, the Peking Garden restaurant hasn't really changed since the 1970's, when it was first established. However, it remains an enduring favourite with locals, who frequent it for its consistently high standards of food and level of efficiency. Admittedly, it is a little pricey, but highly recommended, with an exemplary reputation in the local area.
