1. When I had building work that ran into problems and was delayed Direct Line wouldn't provide cover beyond 1 year. This is not the way to treat loyal customers.
2. Legal cover has so many exclusions in fine print it is virtually worthless.
3. Many other exclusions that limit the cover.
4. Don't trust Defacto ratings. They don't do any detail review of what the policy really covers (beyong the many exclusions).
5. Always reward loyal customers by increasing the renewal price even if you haven't made a claim. New customers always get a better price.
