My son ordered football boots from pro direct soccer and at over £130 was really excited when they arrived. Sadly they were a little too small but the boots were not available in a bigger size. We returned the boots and return slip and patiently waited for his money to be returned. And waited. And waited.I checked the status of the order many times. No change there. After one month I decided to call them to find out why they hadn't given our son his money back. They had't received the boots?? But the courier delivered them! "We'll investigate and get back to you". Half an hour later.... " we'll process your refund in 3-5 days". "Thank you", I sighed. That 5 minute call cost us over £1.50! They don't tell you that they use a premium rate number. The guy on their answer phone tells you the calls cost 10p per minute. Ha! If you want hassle free shipping don't use this company! They want you to chase your money to profit from the exorbitant cost of the calls to their service centre. This, in my opinion, is atrocious. A very expensive way of contacting them which 'taxes' their customers out of more money because they don't keep customers informed and don't update the order status on your account. A deliberate ploy, I believe. Avoid if you don't want trouble and further expense.
