The store in Merriam KS is a flagship of rude and inconsistent staff and a mar on all that Ikea managed to build elsewhere.
There really is too much to be said, inconsistent pricing, commitments not honored, furniture not as described when you take it out of the box, unintelligible instructions and arrogant, self righteously dim witted customer support which make the IRS look helpful.
I bought a sectional and went through all that, it could be that it's a store specific issue, as I said, I've been to several other Ikea Stores but the one in Merriam Kansas must take the cake on poor service.
