I wouldn't recommend argos card to anyone. It is not the people in the stores or on the phone it is the card it self.

The ways to make a payment are limited in my opinion and its not as difficult as you may think to run behind with payments regardless your income. You need to go to the bank or post office which is time consuming and is likely you may not have the time or simply don't want to queue for 30 mins. Alternatively you can call them if you like giving your debit card details over the phone I am not. I make my payments using online banking but you cant do that with argos.

The card is useless in the bank . You need the bill from them to make your payment. If you loose it you have to wait for the next month or call them to send another letter. Calling them from your mobile can cost you a lot.

It damaged the very good credit score i had. I regret using argos card , should have just used my credit card and it would have been much easier now. Also be aware of the small letters in the contract they charge A LOT of interest (more than £10 a month) if you are late in payments after the six months period.

It's marketed as being convenient , personally i didn't find it to be convenient at all. Don't buy with the argos card , you may regret it.
