General Comments
I visited this restaurant last week and despite being told by a couple of friends that it was excellent, I left feeling bitterly disappointed and £80 out of pocket!

I was already put off before i even touched my food - due to finding all my cutlery looked extremely dirty!

When i asked a waitress for replacements, she took them and didn't even offer me an apology. I even had to remind her to bring the new ones back over to me! She was extremely busy as it was a Friday night, but I feel that should not be an excuse for anyone working at what is described as 'one of Colchester's finest restaurants'.

The food wasn't all that hot, and the portions were very small. I wouldn't mind if this was gourmet food but in my opinion this was nowhere near that standard!

Overall, a poor effort - will not be returning under any circumstances!
