Good Points
Friendly welcome, simple but tasty food prepared to order, decent Chianti, good atmosphere despite being a quiet evening.
Bad Points
Not bad, exactly, but I thought the insalata tricolore was a little insipid, maybe due to the use of English rather than Italian sourced ingredients.
General Comments
Overall a good experience on a quiet Tuesday night. The waiter was charming and funny but was not overbearing in any way. Pasta dishes were excellent - perfectly cooked and very flavourful. Generous, too. A classic local Italian ristorante and, as proudly chalked on a board outside, an independent one - and all the better for not being part of a chain. We will definitely return.
