General Comments
I have owned my Peugeot Vivacity compact 50 scooter for about a year now, and the first thing that springs to mind when I think of it is the nippiness of the thing. It will do 50 quite happily once de-restricted, although going against the wind or up even the slightest hill (I live in the fens so I know when the road is not level) will reduce the speed down to about 40.
The second thing that springs to mind is the strength of the scooter, although some panels feel a bit tacky.
I had a collision with a car that pulled out on me, and the car came off worse than the scooter, as I just managed to clip the passengers side of the car. The scooter was unscathed, but the car had the fog-light hanging out!
One bad point about this scooter is that it does need to be fully warmed up properly before setting out, due to it having an automatic choke. If you don't do this it will clonk out, guaranteed.
All in all, I have enjoyed my time with the Vivacity, but now I want something a bit bigger, such as a 125.
