“Did not do what they said they would do”

We had 4 bikes stolen and were offered 3 replacement credits from Wheelies as 1 was still available from Halfords. Didn't like ordering bikes that I could not see, feel or even try in the flesh so found it hard to decide on the replacements. After finally choosing 3 on a very slow website I called and placed the order which went fine. After choosing all the replacement attachments, lights, stands, mudguards etc I was asked if I wanted them all to be attached to the bikes, I said yes and when they called to arrange delivery again they asked if i wanted all the attachments added and i said yes again but when the bikes arrived none of the lights were attached, only 2 of the mudguards were attached (one of which was scratched and marked and had to be replaced) and only 2 of the stands were fitted. We soon found out the stand was not fitted because it could not physically be fitted due to a gear cable being in the way - when i called to change it for one that would fit i was advised to send it back then they would discuss a replacement. I called back after a few days (and when my tracking number told me they had received it back) only to be told by 2 different people that they had not received it, they finally agreed they had recieved it back and looked for a replacment but at this point they advised me that mountain bikes are not really designed to have stands. I pointed out that a bike for a 11 year old needed a stand so it was not thrown down and damaged, they finally found 1 stand that should fit but was for a 26" wheel not a 27.5" so would lean over more than it would usually. Why did they advise/send a stand that would not fit in the first place? Also one of the rear brake cable was not connected and I was advised to take it to a cycle shop and it would take 2mins to fix and to send them the bill, fortunately my husband was able to reconnect it!
All in all not a very smooth process from the replacement experts!!
