“Couldn't ask for better”

Applied online July, received mortgage promise in couple of minutes. Booked appointment with mortgage adviser the following week for full application, which took about 90 minutes, but mortgage advisor was very helpful. Valuation booked in following week, report received 2 days later and mortgage offer soon after. process very simple, fully completed 14 sept 15, also received lovely welcome to your new home hamper off halifax today. It included tool kit, wine, picture hooks etc, nice little surprise. I would definitely recommend Halifax, can't say I had any problems, process made simple for a first time buyer. :-)
