“Insulting staff over phone”

I was offered the chance of joinging, I think, reward saving account. When I asked what would be benefit of joinging their 'new' reward saving account, i was asked if i understood what 'interest' means. That is when i was talking to her in, what i think, perfectly good English.

Not too sure, if she suddenly thought that i did not understand English or that my IQ was minus zero that I did not understand what the word 'interest' meant.

Obviously Coop's staff are not trained to serve customers properly, was quick to jump into conclusion that if anybody asked for anything, that the person is automatically stupid and does not understand English language.
