Good Points
The teacher called Sarah is very good with the children. She knows the horses and their capabilities and puts the rider with the correct horse for the lesson. The people are very friendly and the classes are small so that the children tend to get good tuition in their lesson.

Bad Points
I can't honestly think of anything that is not good about Alder Root.

General Comments
I think the value for money is great! My daughter, Melissa, has been going to Alder Root Riding Stables since last February. She had never even sat on a horse and now is riding quite confidently by herself with tuition of course. The lessons can be varied. Sometimes the children are in the paddock learning the basics like changing the rein, exercises, etc. Other times they go out on the road for a hack but always with extra leaders so that the children are safe and secure in what they are doing. This also gives the children extra confidence. I would recommend any child, that would like to take up horse riding, to start at Alder Root. The people are also extremely friendly. Sarah teaches my daughter Melissa and she is wonderful. She has a real feel for each horse and makes sure that each child is safe and their lesson is enjoyable.
