“Uncaring, robotic customer service”

I tried to transfer money through Remitly for a family emergency. My father needed surgery and their requirements for security are horrendous! They told me to send them a copy of my ID and bank statement for security purposes. I did their requirements and they still wouldn't let the transfer through. My husband did a threeway phone call with my bank and the Remitly customers service representative And they still would't let the transfer through. I eventually had to go to my bank and wire money that way because if I kep on trying to pursue the Remitly transfer, my father would be dead by now. I even told Remitly it was for an emergency surgery. They were very pleasant, "I am sorry." "Thank you for choosing Remitly" like memorized phrases that does not come from the heart. Almost Robotic in nature. This company is useless!
