“Trip to Yorkshire”

I used LateRooms.com for the very first time to book 3 seperate places to stay in Yorkshire in July and was very impressed with the website and more importantly, the 3 different types of accommodation. The first night, 14 July, was enjoyed at the lovely Red Lion Hotel and Manor House in By the Bridge Burnsall, Skipton. The food was superb and the double en-suite room, comfortable. We then stayed in York at the Newington Hotel on 15 July. Room was very nice, although located up in the attic, so you need to be fit to climb the stairs ! We used their swimming pool which was pleasant. We had excellent service from the moment we arrived, at breakfast and on departure. Our third night was spent much further north at the Old School at Scremerston, near Berwick upon Tweed. Very pleasant and friendly owners offered us great hospitality in their beautiful B&B. We would recommend all 3 places to friends or family in the future.
