General Comments
I got an Aprilia Rally 50 AC scooter as a birthday present. It doesn't have the high cost of most of the modern 50cc scooters, but it sure looks like it with its horrible nose (although this won't bother you when you ride it). It has good handling, the seat is very comfortable, and the brakes are pretty good, despite the fact that it has a drum brake on the rear.

The Rally can be driven both on road and on terrain. It had off-road tyres when I got it, and still has them. It grips well on wet surfaces, and turns on pretty well, except when it's under 0 Celsius. Its kick lever is pretty useless.

It costs somewhere around €1500-€1750, which isn't a bad price for me, but the speed leaves something to be desired. It's a tad better than average acceleration, but if you want a scooter that moves faster than 45km/h, buy some other model. Although it should perform well after a small de-r'.

Some friends told me that the Rally is very adaptive, which practically means that it can be equipped with parts of other scooters, like Yamaha Aerox. If you can't find original Rally parts, you might want to take the risk.

The fuel tank is pretty small, about 6 litres, which you can consume in about 100 kilometres when driving at full speed all time. If you want something that has more fuel or less consumption, don't look at the Rally. You might also want to buy or build an extra size tank.

Overall, the Rally is a reliable, comfortable to ride, rather cheap scooter, with bad looks and a small tank.
