I was unhappy being a member of Parship but my problems really began when I cancelled my membership. I cancelled my direct debit and asked my assistant to write to Parship stop membership. They wrote to me demanding money and claimed they did not receive a cancellation notice. I offered to send a copy of the letter but they wanted proof of postage. Furthermore one cancellation letter is not sufficient a confirmation of the cancellation is required. I sought advice and was told that their cancellation process was unfair and not clearly explained. They offered to accept half the debt but should I not accept this they would pass my case to a debt collection agency. Stay away or you could find you are paying more than you bargained for.
