Good Points
Quality, Refinement. Good specification being the SE. Both front perches are fully adjustable. Classy interior especially thr blue backlight on dash. Reasonable ice.
Bad Points
Lack of interior storage compartments. Glove box will take a matchbox, just.
General Comments
After an Audi A4 and Volvo S40 and a Mercedes C class I took the 2.0 SE Bora for a test drive. Very comfortable and eerily quiet. Excellent refinement. Bought the 2002 Bora from a VW main agent at a very reasonable price with a years warranty/breakdown cover. A few things need to be addressed like no glove box light! and door lamp not working but these are minimal gripes. With only 30k on the clock coupled with the warranty I had to say YES. Lower insurance group (8) compared to the 1999 Audi A4 (14) and more mpg to boot adds up to a good cruiser. BUY ONE and ENJOY.
