My parents decided to put an offer down on a house, the home owner accepted the offer and then the estate agency forwarded the accepted offer over to Barratt homes.

As far as my parents were aware and the estate agency, the house was theirs.

Later, my mother phoned regarding information on a wash machine only to discover Barratt homes didn't bother to process their accepted offer and now my parents have lost their dream home to another bidder and through Barratt homes incompetence. Now they have to start looking for a new home all over again and also pull their house off the market as they wouldn't have anywhere to live if they sold the house.

Such a simple administration error as now caused so much grief to my family.

Thank you Barratt homes.
