Good Points
More durable than aluminium models. Like all pressure cookers, it really speeds up cooking times for soups and stews.
Bad Points
Cleaning the interior sides can be awkward if food has burnt on - unlike the interior base, which is very smooth, the sides have very fine ridging.
General Comments
I have the Tower Rapide Rapid Chef 6 litre stainless steel model no 4355. Unlike other pressure cookers I've previously owned, this one has not suffered any pitting of the interior surface, nor has there been any distortion of the base (which makes it difficult to use on a solid hob ring). That's probably because this one is stainless steel and not aluminium.
Spare rubber gaskets are most cheaply obtained from the manufacturers in my experience. Phone number is 0161 947 3111.
