Spent 4 nights here after a 7 night nile cruise. We chose it for 2 reasons - we stayed in Le Meridien Mauritius a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, and the proximity to the pyramids with that 'pyramids view'. First impression of the hotel was that it looked a bit dingy and the staff were a bit casual. However we soon warmed to it and we revised it up a bit. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the pyramids. The food both at the pool bar and main restaurant was of good quality (but we found the main restaurant a bit pricy). The pool itself was welcome after that morning trek to the pyramids and it was kept clean. We found that booking the limo for trips to the egyptian museum and the pyramids was far the easiest way to see the sights. Not sure if we'll be back, nothing against the hotel, but if we return to egypt we'll probably visit a different area.
