General Comments
If you want to waste your time and money being placed on international hold by largely anonymous call centres, or at best never speak to the same person twice and repeat yourself multiple times, then the Bank of Scotland is the bank for you. Greetings Shirleen, Charleen, and you all.
If you want to waste your time and money trying to work out which Helpline you need for the Internet Banking, Online Banking, New Online Banking, Sorry We Have Not Migrated Your Accounts To The New Bigger Amalgamated Banking, then this is the bank for you, too.
If you want the use of a secure Online email facility only to be emailed back with expensive international telephone Helpline contact numbers, then, you got it, this is the bank for you.
If you need Internet Banking with access only to some of your accounts and leaving you with the good old international telephone for the others, this bank is most definitely here for you.
But, seriously, if you want a colourful website with accounts that offer a few percentage points more interest than the average, but at the expense of the foregoing, then you might try Bank of Scotland International. With luck maybe they might become amalgamated enough to get their act together to offer efficient and cost effective service from the point of view of their clients in time.
