“I bought the Roland Cube amp for practicing on the...”

written by noelford on 08/08/2008

Good Points
Incredibly good sound for a small battery amp, with unexpectedly loud volume. Stomp effects are more than adequate and this little beauty outperforms, by a mile, previous practice/dressing room amps I have owned, including Fender and Peavey with, on paper, much higher specs.

Bad Points
In terms of performance and quality, relative to it's size and portability, this am has no bad points as far as I am concerned.

General Comments
I bought the Roland Cube amp for practicing on the move, never expecting that a one-watt battery amp would be capable of more. However, I used this amp for an impromptu performance at a social gathering of over sixty people in a small hall and it did a great job.
