Here we are in a deep recession where everyone is skint and what do Travelodge do,they revamp the website and crank prices much higher.Forget their price bragging claims of rooms from £19.Try and find one.We have had some great cheap stays over the past few years but we wont be rushing to book with these silly prices. Some rooms are over £100 for one nights stay with NO food. They know that many people will be staying in Britain this year and have cranked the prices up to get maximum profit potential.People will simply stay at home or go on daytrips rather than pay highly inflated prices.People have got used to cheap rates. The last ever £9 per night sale was held at the end of 2010 and the £19 rates for booking early seem to be non existent.Im sure in the coming months Travelodge will realise that they have made a huge mistake by increasing their prices this much as the majority of families are living on the bread line and cannot afford them.
