General Comments
Having owned several DVD players in the past, this Dansai 852 DVD player was purchased as a "spare" for use in spare room. Comparing it to my Toshiba model I cannot find general sound and vision in any way inferior to it despite costing over four times the price. The 3D sound facility needs to be turned on to enable audio to sound as it ought to even if the optical output is being utilised, which incidently will not work in tandem with line outputs. Maybe I am being a little over critical but for only £99 one cannot complain.
