Good Points
Has a ridiculous milage. 100mpg! Sounds awesome and looks fairly funky giving it a slight head turning ability, vain as that might seem its quite nice.
Easy to ride and handle and can generally push enough power for a smooth and safe overtake.
Bad Points
Dodgy at best. Lots of things seem to have a habit of rapidly breaking, endless electrical faults (perhaps due to age to be fair), not suitable for traffic on a fast A road or motorway (think 70mph sustained), it doesnt really like it.
General Comments
I've had my Suzuki GN 125 for nearly 2 years. Its a 1998 and has done around 35k miles.
In my eyes its been an absolute trashmonkey. It seems every week something else goes wrong, most recently a complete engine refurb which cost a lot and was only done because I thought it would be cheaper than a new bike entirely. I'm not sure it will. The wiring started to fail and numerous other repairs have eventually left me with a bike costing more on repairs than it did on the price of buying it in the first place. And that wasnt cheap.
But its still a lot of fun and apart from having to walk everywhere, and i live in the country, when it breaks down I dont have much of a problem with it. Just dont expect too much on the power front; its definitly a cruiser, not a sports.
