In searching for hotel rooms for me and my wedding party for my wedding night, I came across Destinology with some very competitive pricing. As I was dubious with the prices do much lower than other sites, I checked reviews and found lots of glowing references. So I rang them up, got ok service over the phone and also quoted the cost of room booking over their advertised internet prices Once the price was reduced, it was left that as soon as the booking was confirmed an email would be sent and the deposit taken from my account.
Later the same day I received an email that they were just waiting on the booking reference and would arrange the deposit payment when it was received.
I heard nothing more from them for over a week and when I chased, only established contact after having sent emails and rang numerous times. The agent then told me they were struggling on getting the prices advertised on their own website and were going back and forth with their suppliers. I complained about the lack of communication and asked that as a minimum could an email every couple of days be sent. I was promised daily phone calls.
Unsurprisingly, I've not heard from them since even though I've chased them.
My advice is go elsewhere.
