Had initial meeting in local branch on 25th April 2015, rung them today, (as all we have heard from to date, is the solicitor they appointed to act on our/their behalf).

It would seem that there was a couple of notes on their system, put on their on 29th April 2015, requesting further information from us, but hadn't thought to contact us via email/post or telephone to ask for this extra information, so for the past month, nothing has moved forwards on our application, and if I hadn't of rung them today, we still wouldn't of known.

I didn't realise that getting a buy to let remortgage would be so hard, when we initially bought the house and took out a buy to let 2yrs ago with Halifax, their dealings of our application was a breeze and straight forward.
