Good Points
Firstly it has to be the great looks and styling. The performance is excellent and the stability and handling are amazing. My last few bikes were Ducati's and I was unsure how I would take to the TMAX but I just love it. Good storage compartments and very comfortable over distances.
Bad Points
Very few really; fuel consumption seems a little heavy but I am quite heavy on the throttle and like to get where I am going at pace. Windscreen tends to buffet your head (I am 6' 3" tall) - i made a perspex extension for the winter which worked really well. Oil changes are a little frequent at every 3000 miles. Thats about it - really great machine. Oh, and maybe another 20mph on the top speed :)
General Comments
Overall, a great piece of machinery. I use the TMAX every day to commute 15 miles and back to the station and look forward to the trip (even in the rain). The bike feels very solid on the road and has no handling quirks - holds the line every time. I used to have a small 50cc for commuting and a big bike for weekends. The TMAX covers both roles easily and even surprises my friends on their traditional motorbikes with its handling and performance. I bought some handlebar mitts and one of those tuscano urbano leg covers for the winter which kept me warm and dry; these are now off and I am looking forward to some long summer rides.
