Good Points
Maple neck for strength and bright tone, light body, 22 frets, thick finish, solid construction, bolt-on

Bad Points
Medium jumbo frets (had to sand it to my liking though), swimming pool cavity(?), trem bar (I dont use it)

General Comments
Overall this is a pretty excellent guitar if it only had a fixed bridge and string-through option ala-Tele. Also I prefer tighter pickup cavities so the swimming pool cav is a no-no, but then I guess it gives the guitar a very semi-hollowish tone which I actually love, I am just afraid of feedback. The pick ups are quiet, and with two pups selected it can be used effectively for tight distortions. I still don't know what wood was used for the body but hey, it's light and resonates well (try it unplugged). The tuners are not of great quality but these can hold strings well since I don't use the rem bar anyway.

I have already dismantled the whole guitar to see its parts and the more I come to know it, the more I become attached to this guitar. Sounds clean but can crank up any amp when used for drives and dist.
I have a semi-hollow tele too, so I know. I have used some LPs and I don't like the necks and weight. The body of this guitar is really light, perfect for on-stage gigs. The saddles are not sharp. I can gig with this without back-up believe me, and it can hold up to a lot of abuse. I am looking forward to staining the pickguard, pups, and knobs to a yellowish tan to make it vintage.
