If it wasn't one thing, it was another! Constantly cleaning out filter with chewed-up bits of socks or underwear in it (and really hard to get the plug back in :( things getting stuck between the drum and the door seal, filling pipe always coming loose under detergent drawer so when you fill the machine the water floods straight onto the floor, constant leaks, drum replacement, etc. etc. Last couple of washes we were smelling strange burning smell but no visible smoke, which was very worrying and I was afraid to put on a wash unless I was there. It finally gave up the ghost and refused to continue a wash cycle; after going through my usual repertoire of checking hoses, pipes, filters, drum and door seal, and cleaning up the resulting swimming pool in my kitchen (I had to learn to be a repair-woman during the life of this machine or it would have cost the earth) I decided I wasn't going to spend any more time or money on it and just got a new machine (not a Candy - EVER again!!!) I am so glad to be rid of it; in one way or another it has ruined almost every second weekend as I cleaned up more floods from filters or bruised my hands reaching behind the drum to put back the dislodged fill pipe - hopefully I will now have a few years free of "MOMMMMM! YOU NEED TO FIX THE MACHINE AGAIN!!!" And it wasn't even that old - maybe 5 years at most? And it has given trouble for most of its life. Please do not buy this machine if you value your sanity!
