I tried three times to apply and pay for the Cash Passport online. I was very careful to enter all required information correctly. But each time their system replied that my information could not be processed. I called the customer service number but they had no idea why the system rejected me. The agent suggested I go to a Travelex location in person to get the Cash Passport. But then I have to pay an even poorer exchange rate and a $5.95 fee on top of the rate to get the card. The online exchange rates are very high as it is but the in person rates are even more outrageous. So basically if I go the in-person route, I would be punished for them having a terrible website that cannot process applications even though I entered all personal information perfectly. This is not a good business model.
