“Poor Customer Service ”

Ordered a set of 2, 3-seater sofas from Leather Sofa World mid-December 2014 -paying £75 for a 2-person delivery because they were being delivered to a residential address.

In January, the sofas arrived on a pallet in a truck with just the truck driver.
The driver offered to machine-lift the sofas from the truck and leave them on the street (the recipient is obviously elderly).
When this 'offer' was politely declined, the driver explained that despite the delivery fee instructions the sofas had been loaded on as freight and the sellers/ delivery company would need to be contacted to rearrange.

After calling Leather Sofa World, I was casually told that redelivery would be rearranged but they could not yet tell me when th sofas would be redelivered.

I requested a partial refund of the delivery charge since due to the delivery not being completed and the inconvenience of the delay.
This was verbally agreed by Leather Sofa World who said that a 50% refund would be made to my payment card within 2 working days.

The sofas arrived 1-month later with a 2-man delivery. This is only due to multiple calls to Leather Sofa World who simply dealt with the issue in an extremely casual manner.
After delivery, I contacted Leather Sofa World again as I still had not received the refund. I was again assured that it would be back on my payment card 2 working days later.

It is now May 2015 -5 months after my order, 4 months after an incorrect delivery and 3 months after the eventual delivery but I have still not received any form of refund from Leather Sofa World.

I would advise shoopers to not be fooled by the low prices offered by Leather Sofa World.

Their version of good customer service is atrocious.

Leather Sofa World are far too casual when things go wrong and make false promises in the hope that customers will become so fed up they just stop pursuing complaints.
