I bought my S Type 3.0SE in September 2006. The car had just under 90,000 miles on the clock (Now 102,000), one owner and full Jag service history.



Aside from a wheel bearing and full set of discs just routine servicing required.



Plus points, purchase price £6500 in 2006 cost new nearly £30,000 in 2001. All the options were fitted when new so Sat Nav, Memory Seats, Leather. Goes like stonk when you prod it, on a run it gets 30mpg. I know its personal taste but I love the shape, works for me.



Minus points Parking sensors work when they feel like it and some of the heated front screen elements have given up.



On balance a damn fine bit of kit, but make sure you get full history pref Jag. Avoid cheap ones that will have invariably not been serviced regularly. I think the car needs to be serviced on the button to stay sweet.
