“Policy excess”

I have just taken out the very basic insurance cover for a 10 day trip to Ireland. I have just read the first part of the detailed cover and I was pleased to read that I am covered for:
Emergency dental treatment £250 with an excess of £250
Single item, pair or set for £100 with an excess of £250
Valuables in total £200 with an excess of £250
Cash £200 with an excess of £250
