“Watch out for small print”

I planned a skiing trip to Summit County CO in February 2015 driving from Knoxville TN. I purchased prepaid lodging from Hotwire along with with trip insurance by Alliznz to protect myself from bad weather or injury. I had a skiing accident that resulted in a torn rotator cuff and could not continue. I contacted a orthopedic doctor in Knoxville and was scheduled for an exam a week from the day I damaged the shoulder, immediately left with a day of lodging $168.00 unused. I claimed trip interruption due to an injury. I was denied because I cound/did not see the doctor within 72 hrs. My first advice is don't buy this insurance but in case you do, read the fine print. If I could, I would choose zero stars for the overall rating.
