Theoretically, multivitamins can cause you to gain weight. The body requires cofactors supplied in a multivitamin that are necessary to convert carbs, fatty acids and protein to glycogen and ultimately to body fat. I gained 5 lbs in one month taking a daily centrum without any other changes to my diet. To all of the people who say calories are the only thing that count, they are wrong. Go open a biochemistry book or go to medical school before you regurgitate what they taught you in high school biology.
