General Comments
The Sharp GX30 mobile phone comes with the usual - phone, battery, charger, pc software cd, looooooong manual etc but unlike many older models, extended memory in the form of an 8MB SD card - upgradeable to a larger size if needs be.

I have only had the phone two days so i am only basing this review on the features i have used.

The first thing that hit me was the sheer quality of the screen, it is way behond any phone i have seen, apart from maybe the SE P900.

The phone i had previously was the Nokia 7650. I thought the screen on that was great but i would only rate it at about 30% of the GX30's screen, its THAT good.

I guess most people will be attracted to this phone because of the 1 MEGAPIXEL camera. Well it is outstanding - well beyond my old 7650.

There are 5 different picture sizes to choose from ranging from Small (120 X 160) to XL (858 X 1144) with the amount of zoom decreasing with the larger picture size. For example the small picture size has a 20 step zoom while the large has a 4 step.

You can alter the brightness while taking the picture and use the light (which doubles up as a torch) to help in darker situations.

To sum up the screen/pictures they have to be seen to be believed, i can gurantee you will not be dissapointed.

I am currently waiting for my SD card reader before i begin transferring files to and from my pc, including MP3's (yes, the phone also doubles up as a MP3 player).

The only major problems i have found are the inability to change the colour theme - because the phone is a Vodafone exclusive the theme is red. Also the bluetooth feature is only used for handsfree headsets not data transfer.

If you want a good phone with a second to none camera then this is your answer!
