General Comments
The Honda CBR900RR sports bike is an awesome thing to ride from a point of view that it is a comfy all round performer whether its blasting round country roads or two up touring with the mrs, my biggest gripe though has to be the insurance group - there are much faster and more powerful choices for less insurance, but otherwise i love the power torque handling looks and driveability, the bike is a flagship model for those reasons and also forgiving for a novice, the brakes could be a bit more powerfull though. I have fitted an aftermarket exhaust as standard it was almost car quiet and it keeps up easily with my friends(zzr1200&gsxr1300)on the twisties infact it is usually leading. It is good on motorways with little wind blast but lots of power to overtake when needed, top speed on the dyno was 185mph, but on road the best achieved by the speedo was 170mph(dependent on speedo accuracy though)117.3bhp@9790rpm and 71FT/LBS TORQUE@7425RPM MEASURED DIN WHEEL POWER
