“Smith's House hen weekend”

I have just returned from a weekend at Smith's House in Derbyshire for a friends' hen party. Being one of the organisers I contacted Acacia and spoke to them a lot in the couple of months leading up to the weekend. Being a group of 15 girls, nothing was straight forward but the staff were so helpful in answering our every query, accomodating every requirement and making changes at the last minute.
The house itself was lovely - so spacious and comfortable. We did a dance class, had beauty therapists to the house and also the chef's prepared 3 course meal. Everything ran like clockwork and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. I have to thank Acacia for taking the pressure of what can be a very stressful thing to organise!
One very small detail which I don’t think was included on the house information is that although each bedroom has an en suite, there was no hand soap. I think this should either be provided or at least included in the information so that we knew to take our own. But that was a very small criticism in an otherwise perfectly planned weekend!
