“Friendly, Clean and Good Quality ”

I accidently found myself on this site, and out of curiosity read the reviews. The comments bear no relation to my own experience at Preston TF. I am not a natural 'gym bunny' and although I've gone to various gyms around the country over the years, I have never felt comfortable in any of them.
At Total Fitness there is a good range and availability of equipment, and I have rarely found any of it out of order. There was one occasion where some of the showers were too hot, but when this was reported it was dealt with promptly.
I've been a member for 10 months. There has been some major renovation during this time, and whilst there was some inconvenience when the pools were closed, I felt that the disruption was well managed. Any contact that I've had with any staff, whether management, recruiters, counter service, poolside, cleaner etc, has been positive and friendly. I don't go around the place with a white glove seeking dirt, but cleaning is ongoing throughout the day and in my opinion standards are good.
I will be renewing my membership in a couple of months, and happily so!
