Mine has been a great bike after it had about 2000 miles on it. Up to that mileage it wasn't really broken in and I was still learning how to tune it and service it myself. I used it to ride to work every day for 2 years, rain or shine, which was a distance of 25 miles round trip. I never experienced any problems the entire time. I have done a few performance upgrades to it over the 17 years but nothing major. It still has the original piston and rings. It is a 1994 model which were lower quality than the new Royal Enfields are today. I would never sell my Royal Enfield for any price and hope to continue riding and enjoying it for the rest of my life.
